Three of the eight hotels previously listed here no longer take a booking. Surin has turned over harder than any beach on the west coast, partly because the beach clubs came down in 2016 and the stretch spent years rebuilding.

High ground between Surin and Bang Tao, with a rooftop pool that makes the most of sitting above both. Five-star build, family rooms, and sea views from a good share of the keys.
Spa, sauna, fitness centre and sun terrace fill the wellness side, with a pool bar and coffee shop for the rest of the day. Shuttles head to both beaches, and the walk down to Surin takes about fifteen minutes.
